coltonWe are honored to support “Colton’s Army”!

Colton is the son of a former PACE employee, who was diagnosed with Leukemia in September, 2009. After a long fought battle, Colton has been in remission for 18 months and has vowed to give back to the Seattle Children’s Hospital. Colton and his family have created a Seattle Children’s Hospital guide, “Colton’s Army,” to raise money for Uncompensated Care, and Strong Against Cancer, an immunotherapy treatment that does not involve chemotherapy or radiation. The guide currently has 45 members and has raised a total of $6,000 since June.

Recently, a few of our employees, past and present, volunteered at the “Run With Heart” 5k to benefit Colton’s Army. Our Founder and CEO as well as our VP of Business Development, have purchased tickets to attend the guide’s first event, “Hope For Heroes Auction” being held at the Mill Creek Country Club on Oct. 8th.  “Colton’s Army” guide hopes to raise $21,000 at this event which will benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Uncompensated Care and Strong Against Cancer. In the upcoming months, “Colton’s Army” guide will be adding new events and organizations to their team: “Colton’s Caring Club” or “C3,” “Miles that Matter,” “Big Climb Team,” and the “Ronald McDonald House.” All of these wonderful events and organization aim to fund-raise for, and support families with, children who have been affected by childhood cancer.

PACE feels privileged to be part of Colton’s journey to help make a difference, and we encourage all of you, to join us in this journey as well.  We are humbled by Colton’s determination to beat cancer.
