That’s just what happened for our employee Michelle who started a very short project with our client back in August, was quickly transitioned into their Front Desk Receptionist, and now is on her way to a permanent role with the company!

Michelle has proven herself to be reliable, flexible, consistently produce a high quality of work, and give 100% effort daily no matter the task she is given. With this work ethic, it’s no wonder she has been such a successful employee and our client wants to hire her!

Tell us in a couple sentences about your role and what you enjoy most about it!

My role started with sorting files and organizing the file room completely. When that was finished ahead of schedule, I moved into the Receptionist position and so far, it has been pretty enjoyable. I have been reorganizing the reception area and teacher supply room.

How has your current role impacted your career path in the long term?

I think my current role has impacted my career path by sliding into a position I find perfect for me. There is no stress and every once in a while, I get to play with the kiddos!

Have you picked up any new skills in your role?

I have not picked up any new skills yet, but they are slowly teaching me their computer programs and how which programs are available to kids in need.

Are you from the Pacific NW?

I was born in Tacoma and raised in California. I have moved around a lot but Washington is home.

What are the benefits of working for a staffing company like PACE in your opinion?

In my opinion, working for a staffing company lets you get a foot in the door with a company you thought you might never work for. Or a position you may think you wouldn’t like but is fulfilling to you. At least this is what I have found.

What has your experience been like working for PACE?

This was my first position with PACE and if I ever need a job again, I will be coming back to them.

What do you enjoy spending your time doing outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy reading a good book. Spending time with my kids and my boyfriend. I also like to dabble in writing books.
