She’s represented PACE with professionalism and integrity, even during times of ambiguity in the projects she’s supported. Tell us in a couple sentences about your role and what you enjoy most about it!

I have been assisting with issuing rebate (refund) checks to participants of the company’s Select “core” Dental, Vision, Medical, and Life plans. All of which has included tracking data, answering participant inquiries, working directly with the bank, account reconciliations, returned checks, and so much more. I feel what I have enjoyed most about my time with this company is working with the people. They have been a constant source of support, professionalism, and just really good people to work for and with.

How has your current role impacted your career path in the long term?

This role has been performed mostly working remotely. I see now that you can be very successful in most of the accounting field by doing so. I will be looking for remote opportunities in the future.

Have you picked up any new skills in your role?

I would have to say that my excel skills have sharpened during my role here. It is always a good thing to up the ante with excel experience in the Accounting field.

Are you from the Pacific NW?

I was born in raised outside the Twin Cities of Minnesota. I married and moved to the Pacific NW in 1993.

What are the benefits of working for a staffing company like PACE in your opinion?

I have really enjoyed working with PACE. The company and it’s employee’s have always been there for me when I had questions, and feel they have always had my best interest in mind. I am so grateful for opportunity to work with them.

What do you enjoy spending your time doing outside of work?

The thing I enjoy most is fishing. I have a very big passion for cooking, gardening, and love to hike.
