dress-code

Work Environment & Dress Code

Compass is no doubt best known for their technology and disruption driven environment that is reflected in the team-oriented, busy and upbeat feel within their office. This is a great work space for those with a positive and innovative spirit!

They heavily value employees with a proven track record of being able to work collaboratively as well as independently while maintaining the valuable ability to prioritize work. Compass is aggressively growing into new markets and relies on the contributions of its employees to help the organization meet ambitious growth goals! Compass frequently utilizes staffing services such as PACE  to help meet hiring needs especially as they are quickly entering several new markets across the US without the internal recruiting resources necessary for the amount of new roles they have to fill in a timely manner.

Within each of their 3 Seattle-area offices, they primarily use the open cubicle approach to working in pods depending on business focus. New employees are trained thoroughly and have a side-by-side mentor in their immediate supervisor.

Like many Seattle-area technology companies, you can expect a less than professional dress code at Compass! For a job interview, please dress ‘slightly above business casual’ in suiting pieces with a collared shirts, blouse, sweater and professional shoes. While on the job at Compass, feel free to dress business casual (no jeans, but clean sneakers are okay) while adhering to clean and professional grooming and hygiene standards while being aware of overuse of scented soap, perfume or cologne.
