For customers using large numbers of temporary workers, PACE provides onsite representation either in combination with our ONE STOP service platform or as the client’s primary vendor. Our onsite programs, sometimes referred to as VOP or Vendor On Premise, involves placing at least one member of our service team to work at one or more of our client’s facility—taking orders, dispatching employees and overseeing the management of our contingent workforce.
There are several benefits for an onsite service delivery program:
- It solidifies the relationship we have with our temporary employees, making sure our clients are not distracted by temporary staff personnel issues.
- It provides opportunities for up, close and personal interactions with our client’s management and supervisory staff—improving our ability to anticipate needs for staff, our access to supervisory feedback on employee performance, and, in general, making us a more visible—we are a day-to-day partner on the staffing side of our client’s business.
- It improves the quality of our employee orientation, training, or safety management programs—again, tightly integrating our work with our client’s business goals and practices.
- It enhances the overall service relationship we have with our customers—putting us in a position to directly support their business initiatives; becoming a more actively engaged business partner.
